Keith Golden

Wesley "Keith" Golden passed away peacefully at his home Monday, November 28, 2022. 

Keith was born June 08, 1954, in Dawson, Georgia to Grace Hancock Golden and Wesley Bernard Golden.  He is survived by his wife, Paula Golden, and daughter, Jennifer Tanner, three sons, John Golden, Scott Golden, and James Starks, and 10 grandchildren, J.B. Starks, Tyler Starks, Nathaniel Starks, Carter Starks, Andrew Tanner, Taten Tanner, Leslie Tanner, Raulin Tanner, Jamison Golden, and Georgia Golden.

Keith served in the U.S. Navy after high school and went on to work for the IBEW Electrical Union for more than 30 years.  He was especially proud to have worked approximately 8 years getting electrical set up for our troops in Bagram, Afghanistan and parts of Iraq.

Keith loved his daily companion, Rascal, his Harley Davison motorcycles and his Ford Shelby Mustang.  In retirement he had become an avid woodworking hobbyist.  

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 2:00PM and followed by a service at 3:00PM in the Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Reverend Debbie Lefevers will officiate.
