Warren Clarence Kohne

Warren C. Kohne was born on May 21, 1933 in Oregon, Ohio.  Warren, who resided in Forsyth, Georgia, passed away Friday, December 15, 2023.  
Mr. Kohne was a retired Delta mechanic and assistant general foreman of aircraft maintenance.  While serving in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict, Mr. Kohne was part of the Strategic Air Command.  After the Air Force, he graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida to become an aircraft mechanic.  He worked in Detroit, Michigan, Columbus, Ohio and Cincinnati, Ohio.  
Mr. Kohne enjoyed reading, oil painting, drawing, storytelling, yard work and planning hunting, fishing and hiking trips with his children and grandchildren.  
Surviving family members include his wife of 60 years, Rachel; children Jon Kohne, Dinah (Richard) Redding, David (Lourdes) Kohne and Andy (Beth) Kohne; grandchildren Zach (Alexa) Kohne, Jasmine (Joshua) Ensman, Dylan (Macey) Kohne-Sanchez, Adrianna Kohne, Kyle Kohne, Amerika Kohne-Sanchez and Sarah Kohne; great grandchildren Aurelia Kohne and Dane Kohne-Sanchez; and his sister, Pauline Hamill.  Warren will be missed by nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.  Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence J. Kohne and Marie Kohne; his brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Virginia Kohne, his brother-in-law, George Hamill and brother-in-law, Lemuel Blalock.
Mr. Kohne’s family gives a special thank you to his physicians and their staff including Dr. J. Goodwin, Dr. S. Singanamala, Dr. P. Onderko, Dr. A. Lawson, Dr. S. Robinson, Dr. C. Oddis and Dr. J. Ervin.
Graveside services will be Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Monroe Memorial Gardens, Ensign Road, Forsyth, Georgia.
