Timothy Luke Reece
We were blessed with the birth of Timothy Luke Reece on May 25, 2023. Luke departed in his sleep September 2, 2023.
In his life, Luke was an incredible son, a gift from God, who brought his family amazing and complete joy. He loved to sit and snuggle and listen to Randy Travis sing gospel music and playing on the floor with his cousins. He was not very fond of clothes and loved sporting around in his diaper. His family adored him. We feel blessed to have had this time with him, we will miss him dearly, and will always remember him forever.
He is preceded in death by great grandparents Jim Ham, George and Cindy Page, and Iris and Bobby Stoner, great great grandparents Francis and Marie Holland, Leo and Opal White, G.W. and Sybil Dover, who, no doubt, welcomed Luke to the Kingdom of God.
He is survived by his loving and devoted parents, Haley and Connor Reece of Monticello; his grandparents, John and Anna Holland, of Smarr; and Tracy and Sandy Reece, of Monticello; great-grandparents, Lydia Ham, of Smarr, Johnny and Marsha Holland, of Jackson, Tim White, of Roanoke, Alabama, and Donna Higdon, of Monticello, great great grandparents, Benson and Ruth Ham of Smarr, his adoring aunts and uncles including Alana and Thomas Nickles, of Gray; Katie and Kaleb Franklin, of Juliette; and Cody Reece, of Monticello. His cousins Logan and Jack Smith, Austin, Andrew, and Amelia Reece, Avery Nickles, and Everlee Franklin will all miss him dearly. Luke also has an enormous extended family who will treasure his memory.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Saturday September 9, 2023, at Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens on Highway 41 North in Forsyth, Georgia. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30am-10:30am at Monroe County Memorial Chapel, 86 West Main Street, Forsyth, Georgia.
The family appreciates the outpouring of love we have already received. If anyone feels led to send flowers or donate money to a charity of their choosing, that would also be appreciated.
