SFC Thomas Franklin “Tommy” Hunnicutt (Ret) GA Army National Guard passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 18, 2017, at East Juliette Baptist Church, 183 J H Aldridge Drive, Juliette, GA 31046 with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Darrell Corbin and Rev. Franklin Etheridge will officiate. The family will greet friends at 1:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service, at East Juliette Baptist Church. Mr. Hunnicutt, the son of the late William James Hunnicutt and Grace Cleo Pritchett Hunnicutt was born May 18, 1931, in Juliette, Georgia. His sisters, Edna McGee and Lou Tillman preceded him in death. He was retired from Bibb Company and was a veteran of the United States Army, also retiring from the GA Army National Guard, after twenty nine years of service. He was a member and former chairman of deacons at East Juliette Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of sixty-seven years, Nonie Speir Hunnicutt of Forsyth; children, Randy Hunnicutt of Forsyth, Reggie (Valerie) Hunnicutt of Forsyth, Patty (Bob) Goolsby of Milledgeville, Greg (Kara) Hunnicutt of Forsyth, Tonia (Roy) Fellows of Morgan and Jeff (Kesha) Hunnicutt of McDonough; brother, Floyd Hunnicutt of Forsyth; sisters, Betty Wood of Richmond, Virginia, Mary (Alvin) Pritchett of Juliette and Gail (Billy) Cochran of Juliette; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express its sincere appreciation and thanks to the Care Professional Team of Pruitt Health Hospice of Macon, Tina, Jillian and Christine.
