Tara Leighann Williams

Tara Leighann Williams, 33, of Forsyth, Georgia passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022. Tara was a loving young lady who never met a stranger. She loved everyone she met and they loved her in return. The love she had for her family was evident. She loved her baby doll, Norman and her stuffed bear, Little Trey, which was given to her by her brother when she was diagnosed with cancer at age 3.  She still believed in Santa, the Easter Bunny and would call Jesus in a heartbeat to tell on you if you did something wrong.

Tara is preceded in death by her stepfather, Michael Proctor; grandparents, Sidney Harper, LaVerne Williams and David Williams, Jimmy Proctor, and Uncle Dwayne Williams. She is survived by her parents, Ann Proctor and Chuck Williams of Forsyth. Her grandmothers, Mae Harper and Stephanie Proctor of Forsyth. Brothers Trey Williams of Forsyth and Dakota (Mallie) Williams of Birmingham, Alabama, Drew Proctor (Ester) of Orlando and one sister, Megan Proctor of Orlando. Aunts and Uncles: Allen (Cheryl) Harper of Louisville, Ky, Dottie (Marshall) Ellis of Macon, Larry Turner of Forsyth, Joey (Susan) Williams, Dan (Angela) Proctor of Forsyth, Amanda (Tracy) Boyt of Thomaston, numerous cousins and special friend, Janet Eldridge of Forsyth.

Services will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Garden Hill Baptist Church on Vining Street in Forsyth. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the church prior to the service. Burial will be at Monroe Memorial Gardens following the service. Rev. Mike McMullan and Rev. Ricky Niblett will officiate.

Family will meet at the home of her grandmother, Mae Harper, 79 Ensign Road, Forsyth.

COVID precautions will be observed and social distancing is encouraged.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements
