Shirley Aultman Gilland

Shirley Aultman Gilland passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021.  Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, September 12, 2021, at New Beginning Pentecostal Church in Forsyth GA.  Rev. Mark Goolsby will officiate.  Visitation will be held at the church prior to the ceremony; the family will greet friends beginning at 3:00 PM.  A private burial will be in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens.

Shirley was born August 15, 1949, in Macon, Georgia to the late Lewis Benjamin Aultman, Jr and Louise Aultman Fomby.  She married the late Henry Alvin “Al” Gilland.  She was retired from Brown and Williamson and was a member of New Beginning Pentecostal Church. 

Shirley is survived by her children, Robby Wood (Cindy) of Barnesville, GA, and Teri Bailey (Trent) of Prosper, TX; sisters Betty “Beppie” Lyles (Paul), Sarah Moresman (Charles), Toni Butts (David); her brother Johnny Etheridge; 7 grandchildren and 9 greatgrandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her sister Tina Evans.
