Scott Daniel

Scott A. Daniel, 61, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025. The family will greet friends from 5PM-7PM on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at First Baptist Church of High Falls. Burial will follow the service in the Church cemetery. 

Born on August 19, 1963, in Carrollton, Georgia, Scott's dedication to his work was paralleled only by his love for his family. For 42 years, he invested his time and energy into Southern Company, where he was both recognized and respected for his work ethic. He worked hard to take care of his family and took great joy in being a proud “Papa.”

Scott is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Becky Daniel of Jackson, Georgia; daughter, Kandace Moore of Forsyth, Georgia; son, Joshua A. Daniel (Cheyenne) of Forsyth, Georgia; four grandchildren: Brooklyn, Eli, Brice, and Ruth Kay; and mother, Elzie Daniel of Bowden, Georgia.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, Denson Burl Daniel, and brother, Stanley Daniel.
