Sandy Kay McCook

Sandy Kay McCook, 60, of Forsyth passed away Sunday July 7, 2024. Born to the late William Jacob Francis and Martha Hogan April 6, 1964, in Atlanta Georgia. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday July 11, 2024, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel, 86 West Main Street, Forsyth, Georgia. Burial will follow at Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens, U.S. Highway 41 North, Forsyth, Georgia with Reverend Jordan Furman officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. 

Sandy attended Southwest high school in Macon. Sandy was a stay-at-home mom and proudly raised three daughters. She loved to garden and work in the yard and is remembered for growing beautiful flowers. Sandy loved to cook and feed her friends and family. She worked for Al’s Market for the past 13 years. 

Sandy is survived by her daughters, Linda Moore (Justin) of Newnan, Melissa McCook of Virginia, and Kim Creswell (Danny) of Lizella; grandchildren Sarah, Kaylee, Nathanael, Angel, Alexander, Raylan, Katelyn, Cheyanne and Bailey; sisters, Marty Madden (Guy), Susie Baxter (Tiny Mo), and Brenda Hopper; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
