Mr. Ronnie James Zellner, Sr. was born August 27,1959 in Forsyth, Georgia to the late Ms. Louise Zellner. He departed this earthly life on November 15, 2017. He was educated in the Monroe County Public School Systems in Forsyth, Georgia and graduated from Mary Persons High School in 1977. At an early age, he joined St. Paul AME Church and later moved his membership to St. Luke AME Church where he served as a faithful and active member. He was employed by Trio Manufacturing Mill, Red & White Grocery and ended his career at Monroe County Memorial Chapel where he served dutifully for 25 years until his health failed him. Ronnie truly loved The Lord and was steadfast in his Faith. Without a doubt, he loved his family; his love and duties as a father were unwavering and unconditional. He was an amazing & very devoted father. He is definitely loved and his absence will be felt. He was preceded in death by two siblings, Barbara and Darrell Zellner. He leaves to cherish his memories: three children - Shenedria Montford, Ronnie James (Shaunna) Zellner Jr and Nekeshie Miller; A sister - Margaret "Lucy" Zellner; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three aunts, A devoted & loving companion (Eugenia Ponder) of many years, her children and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 11:00am, Saturday November 18, 2017, at St. Luke AME Church, 143 James St, Forsyth, Georgia 31029. The family will greet friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Friday, November 17, 2017, at Freeman's Funeral Home in Forsyth, Georgia.
