Richard Keeton

Richard (Laine) Keeton passed away at his home April 4, 2025. He is survived by his wife Monica Keeton, his adult daughters Ashley Sykes (Jason) and Anna Keeton as well has his adult stepdaughter Megan Nowak (Aaron). He has 4 grandchildren Tristin Keeton, Isaac Mitchell, Connor Sykes and Caroline Sykes. He also has two surviving siblings, Kim Ricketts and Kerry Keeton.

Laine spent his life caring for others as a registered nurse. He was also an avid outdoorsman with hunting and fishing being at the top of his list of hobbies.

Laine is described by most as a caring no-nonsense man that lived by an unbreakable code to care for others and for his loved ones above himself. To meet him was to respect him. He was hard working and never met an obstacle too difficult. God made him one of a kind and his like will never be seen again.

Visitation will be Friday April 11, 2025, from 5-7pm at the Monroe County Memorial Chapel 86 West Main Street Forsyth, Georgia. Funeral services will be private for the family at a later date.
