Regina Ruth Canant

Regina Ruth Canant, 75, of Forsyth, Georgia, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Sunday, October 29, 2023, at East Juliette Baptist Church.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.  

Daughter of the late Floyd Allen Mooney and Ruth Ida Garner Parks, Regina was born on October 14, 1948, in Manchester, Georgia.  

Regina will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Gerald “Butch” Canant of Forsyth; daughter, Jennifer Holly Pugh of Juliette, Georgia; son, Thomas Canant (Casey) of Shawnee, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Ava Sophia Linda Adams of Juliette; Lily Canant of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Emerson Canant of Shawnee, Oklahoma; brothers, Charlie Parks (Cheryl) of Jefferson, Georgia and Chris Parks (Tina) of Commerce, Georgia; sisters, Gail Wilson (Mike) of Commerce, Georgia, Terri Parks of Commerce, Georgia, and Sharon Pugh (Donald) of Douglasville, Georgia; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  

In addition to her parents, Regina was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Nelson Pugh.
