Randalyn Ellis Passmore, 77, of Juliette, passed away Friday January 17, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at New Beginning Pentecostal Church, with the Reverend Mark Goolsby officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at East Juliette Baptist Church Cemetery.
Randalyn was a graduate of Jones County High School. She was a former member of Juliette Church of God, where she taught the children's church. She worked for The Flower Cart for many years using her strong creative talents. Randalyn was a published author, writing a book called “The Garden”. She loved her Lord, flowers, and singing. She was a very giving person. She had a gift for taking something that might be seen as broken or unlovely and transforming it into something truly beautiful.
Randalyn is preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Randolph Ellis, and Richard and Mildred VanSkike; siblings, David Bowman, John Richard VanSkike, and Belinda VanSkike; daughter, Titian Fountain Passmore; and grandchild, Charity and Cierra Dever.
Randalyn is survived by her children, Katrina Lea Shipp (Joe) of Milledgeville, Richard Clayton Passmore (Amanda) of Juliette, and Melissa Annette Passmore of Texas; ten grandchildren, Tiffany, Brittany, Mandi, Mariah, Briana, Macey, Alex, Alexis, Skylar and Destiny; 24 great grandchildren; and siblings, Lynda Etheridge, Cindi Veal, and Dannice "Bug" Rozier.
