Phillip English

Phillip English 66 of Forsyth passed away May 11, 2023. A graveside service will be held Monday, May 15, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., at Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens Highway 41 N Forsyth, Georgia. The family will meet friends at Monroe County Memorial Chapel from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Flowers are beautiful and appreciated but the family is requesting memorial contributions be made to Monroe County Hospital Foundation, 88 Martin Luther King Dr., Forsyth, Georgia 31029 please  note in memory of Phillip English.

Phillip is survived by his wife, Connie English of Forsyth; children, Phillip English (Laurie) of Honolulu, Hawaii, Kimberly English (Ryan Sullivan) of Ashville North Carolina, Matthew English (Katie) of Forsyth, Mitchell English of Forsyth; mother, Betty English of Forsyth; brothers, David English (Betti) of Stone Mountain, Georgia, and Clay English (Marcia) of Forsyth; grandchildren Mattie, John Phillip, and Clayton; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Phillip is predeceased by his father, Clayton English and his sister, Diane English Bentley.

Phillip was an avid woodworker, enjoyed gardening, and was a member of the City of Forsyth Planning and Zoning Board.   He also served passionately as chairman of the board at Monroe County Hospital.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
