Peggy Joyce Whitehead

Peggy Joyce “Dee” Watts Whitehead, 77, of Juliette, GA, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday April 13, 2023, at Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens highway 41 N. Forsyth, Georgia with the Reverend David Timothy Templeton officiating.  

Mrs. Whitehead faithfully attended Gospel Tabernacle Church for nearly fifty years.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren telling them about Jesus. She will be remembered for her love of celebrating birthdays with large family dinners with “Money Trees”. 

Mrs. Whitehead is survived by her children, Ken Whitehead, of Bolingbroke Georgia, Keith Whitehead (Abby) of Charlotte North Carolina, Mary Lyn McCullough (David) of Macon, Georgia  and Sarah Chambless (Joseph) of Pinehurst, Georgia; grandchildren, Katie Hunt (Ryan), Chad Whitehead (Ashley), Will Whitehead,  Ryan Whitehead, Jackson Whitehead, Rachel Whitehead, Dave McCullough, Benjamin McCullough, Lily McCullough, Mary Grace Chambless, Malachi Chambless, Sadie Chambless; great grandchildren, Max Whitehead, Grady Hunt, Penelope Hunt, Davis Hunt, Banner Whitehead, and Bishop Whitehead; two sisters; a brother; and many special friends. 

Mrs. Whitehead was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Cleveland Whitehead, Sr.
