Pamela Mays Terry

Pam Mays Terry, 74, of Forsyth, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. 

Pam was the daughter of the late Thomas and Nancy Mays. Born and raised in Forsyth, she was the 1967 honor graduate of Mary Persons High School. She earned her PhD from the University of Georgia and retired from professorship at Gordon State College. Pam was an avid reader and talented pianist, and a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Forsyth.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. 

Pam is preceded in death by her husband, Steve Terry. She is survived by her daughter, Valyne Terry of Forsyth; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Corbett (Pete) of Sandy Springs, Georgia; brother-in-law, Clifford Terry (Ginger) of North Carolina; aunt, May Nelson (Steve) of Gray, Georgia; and many cousins.
