Nellie Blackwell Bennett

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE        Nellie Mae Blackwell Bennett passed away Monday, December 4, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 8, 2017, at Christian Fellowship Church in Jackson with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Barnesville.  Rev. Marty Leverette and Rev. Mike Burge will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Bennett, the daughter of the late Jesse Blackwell and Bonnie Ramey Blackwell was born January 6, 1932, in Walhalla, South Carolina. She was retired from Bibb Company and was a member of Christian Fellowship Church. Survivors include her husband, Clyde Bennett; sons, Clyde Hulon (Patsy Ann) Bennett and Roger Dale (Cheryl) Bennett of Juliette; sister, Edna Payne of Walhalla, South Carolina; five grandchildren: and eight great grandchildren.Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
