Nancy Ethridge Welch

Nancy was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Chester Leonard Ethridge and Jeanette Rainey Ethridge Barnett, October 8, 1935. She was a 1953 graduate of Miller High School in Macon and retired from her career of many years as a bookkeeper in the Office of Personnel Management for the federal government. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Nancy’s true passion was caring for her family.
Nancy leaves behind to mourn her loss her husband of 70 years, Phillip Ronald “Ronnie” Welch, Sr; sons, Phillip Ronald Welch, Jr. (Donna Sellers Welch) and Mickey Welch (Kathy Bell Welch), both of Juliette, Georgia; daughter, Rhonda Welch DeZoort (Sean) of Forsyth; grandchildren, Bennett Welch, Kacie Welch (Trevor Scott), Heather Plaines (Ridgely), Spencer Welch (Lexie), Chloe DeZoort, Emmie DeZoort-Roper (Brady), and Abbie DeZoort; great-grandchildren, Tripp Plaines, Rylie Welch, and Will Roper; brothers, Bill Ethridge (Trudie Owen) and Lewis Ethridge (Ginger); and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Hospital in Macon at www.navicenthealth.org/donate-to-children, or to the donor’s preferred charity.
