Mollie Davis

Ms. Mollie Bohannon Davis, 85, of Forsyth, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Memorial services will be at Fairview United Methodist Church, 407 Fairview Church Road, Forsyth, GA 31029, Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 11:00AM with the Reverend Stanley Harrell officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. 

Mollie was born January 19, 1939, to the late George and Mildred Bohannon. She was born and grew up in Forsyth. Mollie worked for Child Support Enforcement for over 20 years. She was a long-time, devoted member of Fairview United Methodist Church. Mollie was known for her kindness and unconditional love for her children and grandchildren. Everyone who knew her loved her. 

Mollie is survived by her children, Cherry Watts (Hank) of Forsyth, Georgia, Lynn Fitzgerald of Macon, Georgia, and Donna Davis of Forsyth; brother, Lloyd Bohannon (Carol) of Griffin, Georgia; 8 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Chuck Davis; granddaughter, Selena Watts, and her brother, Larry Joe Bohannon. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fairview United Methodist Church, 137 Fairview Church Road, Forsyth, GA 31029.
