Michael Brent Franklin

Michael Brent Franklin, 53, of Monticello passed away January 22, 2025. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, January 27, 2025, at Monroe Memorial Gardens on Ensign Road Forsyth, Georgia. 

Michael was born February 4, 1971, in Tocca, Georgia to the late Glynn Franklin and late Mary Linda Whiting. 

Michael loved watching college football especially The University of Georgia Bulldogs, loved the Atlanta Braves, enjoyed being outdoors playing golf and fishing. When not outside he enjoyed bowling and cooking, most notably his famous chili & chicken dumplings. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family 

Michael is survived by his children, Michael Franklin Jr of Chesapeake, Virginia, Kassie Kesterson (Kayla) of Del Rio, Texas, Logan Franklin of Woodstock, Georgia, Layla Franklin of Woodstock, Georgia, Shariff, Hicks of Smyrna, Georgia; grandchildren, Jaelah, Josiah, and Eli; brothers, Greg and Chris Franklin; and many friends.
