Mary Amerson Freeman

Mary Marie Amerson Freeman passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 31, 2019, at Monroe Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Mark Goolsby will officiate.  The family will greet friends the day of the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.

Mary, the daughter of the late William Melton Amerson, Sr. and Willie B. Hensley Amerson was born May 14, 1950, in Macon, Georgia.  Her brother, William Melton Amerson, Jr. preceded her in death.She was a retired Administrator and CEO.

Survivors include her children, Andy Walton of St. Augustine, Florida, Sara Garnto of Forsyth, sisters, Shirley Ann Wilday of Macon, Marsha Elaine Hubbard of Gray and Kathy Louise Griffin (Ricky) of Macon; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; many nieces and nephews.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
