Martha Helen Tillison

Martha Helen Tillison, age 90 passed away Monday, January 9, 2023. She was born in Muscadine, Alabama. Helen married Clyde Lamar Tillison 10-6-52 and began her married life as a military wife. She and Lamar settled down in Atlanta, Georgia where he worked for Norfolk Southern Railroad. In 1961 the family relocated to Macon, Georgia to raise their only son Kirk. Helen spent many happy years living in Macon and spending summers at Lake Jackson with family and friends.

Helen was a beloved wife and mother. She was the daughter of Edna Bentley West and John West. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Clyde Lamar Tillison. She is survived by her son Kirk Tillison (Jennifer), Brother-in-law Lowery Tillison (Sonja) and sisters-in-law Ruth Waits and Lois Spradley, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Thursday January 12^th at 1:00 pm at Crest Lawn Memorial Park 2000 Marietta Blvd. NW, Atlanta, Ga. 30318.
