Marjorie (Bell) Rogers, 94 left her earthly home on March 23, 2018. Marge was born in Nelson, British Columbia, became a U.S. Citizen at 18 and transplanted to the south when she married. She is survived by her son, William Paul Rogers, & his partner, John Walter Waldvogel; her daughter, Susan (Rogers) Smith, & her husband, J. Franklin Smith; her son, Thomas A. Rogers, & his wife, Amyjon Rogers; as well as six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Marge had over 26 years in the realty business and was the first female president of the Macon Board of Realtors. At the age of 63, she made the Dean’s List at Macon Junior College. She loved to travel, making several trips abroad. She will be remembered as an always optimistic, intelligent, curious, kind & loving woman. A life well lived. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 2 pm at Ebenezer United Methodist Church,1671 Dames Ferry Road, Forsyth, Georgia. Marge loved flowers but in lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the youth program at Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Gulf Pines Cemetery, Venice, Florida alongside her mother and father, Edna and Albert Bell.
