Marion Carmichael Hall, 84, of Forsyth passed away Tuesday November 12, 2024. Born December 9, 1939, in Manor, Georgia to the late Worsley Duncan Carmichael and the late Myrtie Cathelene Howard. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday November 19, 2024, at Lizella Baptist Church 2950 South Lizella Rd. Lizella Georgia 31052. The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday November 18, 2024, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel 86 West Main Street Forsyth.
Marion graduated from Waycross High School then attended Jones Junior Business college where she graduated with honors. She retired after many years of service from Robins Air Force base then again from AT&T as an executive analyst in the information technology department. She enjoyed her career but loved to spend time with her family. She was a charter member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 360 and a member of the auxiliary at Monroe County Hospital. She was a faithful member of Lizella Baptist Church and loved gospel music, she spent many hours in prayer for her family, friends, and community. Marion loved to share a good laugh and story over a cup of coffee.
In addition to her parents Marion is preceded in death by her son Larry Dean Martin Jr. and sisters Anita Eckenrode and Nina Walker.
Marion is survived by her daughters; Deanna Clevenger (Kevin) of Forsyth and Melanie Hunter of Macon; grandchildren; Timothy Martin (Stacy)of Gray, Kyle Clevenger (Reva) of Gray, Shannan Zinnert (Chris) of Juliette, Kacie Clevenger of Forsyth and eighteen great grandchildren.
Monroe County Memorial Chapel 86 West Main Street has charge of the arrangements.
