Lynn Bowdoin Martin

Lynn Bowdoin Martin passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Forsyth City Cemetery.  Dr. Hambric Brooks will officiate.  The family will greet friends the day of the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.  Lynn, the daughter of the late Robert Lee Bowdoin and Jean Mathews Bowdoin was born January 15, 1961, in Macon, Georgia. Her son, Robert Raymond Martin preceded her in death.  She was a homemaker, a graduate of Monroe Academy and a member of First Baptist Church of Forsyth.  Survivors include her husband, Steve Martin; daughter, Jennifer Martin; and sister, Kathy Bowdoin of Forsyth.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to First Baptist Church of Forsyth Youth Choir, 95 West Morse Street, Forsyth, GA 31029. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
