Lucille Cunningham Copeland passed away Monday, August 13, 2018. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 20, 2018, at Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens. Rev. Bryant Raines will officiate. The family will greet friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, August 19, 2018, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Cunningham, the daughter of the late Thomas Cook and Mary Frances Keeling Cook was born February 19, 1949, in Taylorsville, Kentucky. Her daughter, Connie Sue Spires preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and was previously employed with The Medical Center of Central Georgia in housekeeping. Survivors include her husband, Michael Keith Copeland of Jacksonville, Florida; children, Tammy Childress (Stephen) of Gray and Charles Hardin (Kristi) of Hampton; brother, Charles Cook (Peggy) of Depaul, Indiana; sisters, Ana Mae White of Taylorsville, Kentucky, Helen Horn (Bill) of Henryville, Indiana, Minnie Crutsinger ( Bobby) of Chaplin, Kentucky, Louise Hardin (Bobby) of Chaplin, Kentucky and Mickey Pendleton of Louisville, Kentucky, eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren and her beloved bird Lisa. Flowers will be accepted or the family suggests donations to donor’s favorite charity.Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
