Lenez Buice Taylor

Mary Lenez Buice Taylor passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 12, 2017, at the Church of the Nazarene, 744 Veterans Parkway, Barnesville, GA 30204 with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.  Rev. Chip Garrison and Pastor Kevin Thomas will officiate.  The family will greet friends Friday, August 11, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Church of the Nazarene.  Lenez, the daughter of the late Willis Robert (WR) Buice and Sara Graham Buice was born March 5, 1942, in Barnesville, Georgia. Her daughter, Kandi Lee Carson, her sisters, Martha Jean Walker and Barbara Burford and her brother, Wayne Buice preceded her in death.  She retired from Tenneth Hospital as a registered nurse with thirty years of service and was a member of the Church of Nazarene.  Survivors include her husband, Haskel H. Taylor of Culloden; son, Wesley Taylor (Brandy) of Culloden; sisters, Elizabeth Hall (Ronald) of Barnesville and Carol Dukes (Dickie) of Woodbury; brothers, Winton Buice of Forsyth, Paul Buice (Patricia) of Barnesville, David Buice of Forsyth, Eddie Buice (Sandra) of Forsyth and Joe Buice (Barbara) of Barnesville; grandchildren, Meghan Gordy, Ashley, Becky and Rachel Taylor; two great grandchildren, Tanner and Addison Gordy.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Church of the Nazarene, 744 Veterans Parkway, Barnesville, GA 30204.  A reception will follow the interment at the Church of the Nazarene, 744 Veterans Parkway, Barnesville, GA 30204.   Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
