Leland Noble Hawkins

Leland Noble Hawkins passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m., in Green Meadow Memorial Gardens, 699 American Legion Road, NE, Conyers, GA 30012. Rev. Sylvia Swanger will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 29, 2018, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Leland, the son of the late Gerstal Hawkins and Grace Ruth Jones Hawkins was born May 18, 1942, in Cleveland, Tennessee. His sisters, Charlene Lane and Suelle Parton, his brothers, Gerald Hawkins and Randall Hawkins, and his granddaughter, Kaylah Hawkins preceded him in death. He was a truck driver and a veteran of the United States Army. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Hawkins; children, Randall Hawkins, Victoria Hawkins and Tracy Hawkins of Forsyth; sister, Christine Trotter of Cleveland, Tennessee; brother, Cecil Hawkins of Old Fort, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Joshua McCullough, Kristin Haywood, Jacob McCullough and Kimberly Gilbert; and eight great grandchildren, Kenna, Devan, Savanna, Jaiilyn, Skylar, Alyssa, Kayleb and Jaxon, (Paw Paws best buddy). Flowers will be accepted or the family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 10 Glenlake Pkwy NE South Tower, Ste. 400, Atlanta, GA 30328.Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
