Kenneth Eugene Cotton

Kenneth Eugene Cotton passed away Friday, May 26, 2017. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Forsyth City Cemetery.  Rev. Robbie Kerr will officiate.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.  Mr. Cotton, the son of the late Pete W Cotton and Jessie Lott Cotton was born November 15, 1939, in Forsyth, Georgia. He was retired from Georgia Power Company and was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Cotton was a graduate of Macon Technical Cosmetology School, a Mason and a member of Scottish Rite.  Survivors include his spouse, Kate Pinyon Cotton of Forsyth; children, Sherry (Charles) Mays of Forsyth and Mandy (Michael) Rowland of Chester; sister, Janelle (Ed) Delong of Covington; sisters-in-law, Carol Cotton of Tampa, Florida and Judy Cotton of Iowa; grandchildren, Kyle (Heather) Cotton, Steven Mays, Austin (Kylee) Mays, Kalen (Ashley) Rowland, Kristy (Jason) Mays and Jeremy Mays; and nine great grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, GA 31201.Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of local arrangements.
