Kelly Jane Martin

Kelly Martin, 60, of Forsyth, Georgia passed away Monday, May 22, 2023.

Kelly was born in Atlanta to Wootson and Sarah Thornton, but lived most of her life in Macon, Georgia. Kelly was a natural born leader and always so much fun to be around. With her outgoing personality, quick wit, and love for dancing, she was always the life of the party. Her creativity and profound sense of style was apparent in everything she did.

Kelly was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. She had a successful career, but the title she loved most was MiMi. She loved being a MiMi and her grand kids loved her.

Kelly is survived by her mother, Sarah Thornton; Sister, Terry Martin; daughter, Casey Martin (Brendan); grandchildren, Conner, Caleb, and Kayleigh; nieces and nephews, Daniel (Kellie), Anna (John), Lee, Chace, Jake, and Sutton.

Services will be held at New Providence Baptist Church, 2560 US Hwy 41, Forsyth, GA at 11:00 with graveside service to follow. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
