June Marie Hammond

June Marie Hammond, 53, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away Friday, February 24, 2023. Interment services were held at Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens in Forsyth, Georgia. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date. June was born in Chicago to the late Joseph and Mary Bretz. She had been a resident of Georgia since 1997. She was a talented interior decorator who had a great eye for fashion. June loved the fine arts. She enjoyed entertaining and was always the life of the party. Her favorite holiday was Halloween. Mrs. Hammond was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Andrew Hammond. June is survived by her daughters, Nicole BragieI, June Bragiel (Griffin Augustyniak), and Loren DeAngeles (Joseph), all of Chicago, Illinois; grandchildren, Madelyn Loren, Hayden Loren, Malichi Flores, Elena DeAngeles, Joseph DeAngeles Jr., and Daniella DeAngeles; siblings, Joseph Bretz (Karen), Lorraine Roberts and Rita Kondratowicz, all of Chicago; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
