Joyce Olivia McCranie Teal passed away Monday, September 13, 2021. A private service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 15, 2021 in the mausoleum chapel at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Larry Letson will officiate. Due to COVID there will not be a formal visitation.
Joyce was born December 7, 1942 in Telfair County, Georgia, to the late Eddie McCranie and Hazel Selph McCranie. Her husband, Jerry Teal, her brothers, Max McCranie and Travis McCranie, her nephew, Gary Wyre and her brother-in-law, Jim Bullock preceded her in death. She was a retired hairdresser and a member of Northridge Baptist Church.
Joyce is survived by her children, Debra Harrison (Windy) of Macon, Brenda Teal Moulton (Kyle Obrien) of Centerville and Linda Mosely (Jeff) of Forsyth; sisters, Jannie O’Neal and JoAnn Bullock of Milan; grandchildren, Ashley Harrison Campbell, Jennifer Mosely Bowen, Jonathan Harrison and Matthew Mosely; great grandchildren, Hunter, Rigdon, Carter, Ashbie, Meritt and Salem; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. Joyce loved her fur baby “Bailey.”
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 1120 Morning Side Drive, Perry, GA 31069.
Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
