John Kent Fullington, Jr.

John Kent Fullington, Jr., 79, of Macon, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2023.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 12, 2023, at Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens, with the Reverend Jonathan Stevens officiating.  The family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Atrium Health Navicent Hospice Pine Pointe; 6261 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210.

Born on March 18, 1944, in Columbia, South Carolina, to the late John Kent Fullington, Sr. and Carrie Mae Wood Fullington.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Dwillene Head Fullington of Kathleen, Georgia; his children, Doug Fullington (Julie) of Plano, Texas, Randy Fullington of Stockbridge, Georgia, and Carrie Thompson (Eric) of Kathleen, Georgia; his grandchildren, Kaylar Mathison (Ryan), Kess Fullington, Luke Fullington, Kyler Fullington, Haley Thompson, and Hannah Thompson; his sister, Laura Smith (Ken) of Musella, Georgia; and his brother, Henry Fullington (Judy) of Alabama. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Swint.

John will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
