Jo Carol Watkins Jones (Till), 78, of Forsyth, Georgia passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Tuesday January 28, 2025. Funeral services will be held graveside on Thursday January 30th at 3:00pm at Forsyth City Cemetery, with Matthew Bishop officiating. 

Carol was born March 19, 1946, in Forsyth to the late Joseph Drewry Watkins and Willie Lindsey Watkins. She lived most of her life on the family farm of her father expect for 2 ½ years when she lived in Germany. 

Carol was a Mary Persons High School graduate and spent most of her working years as a bookkeeper in Forsyth and Macon. She was also a member of Maynard Baptist Church and loved attending the Young at Heart Sunday School Class. She enjoyed camping, cooking, gardening and beautiful flowers. She dedicated her life to caring for her daughter Sherri who has cerebral palsy. 

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Glen Jones; her two children Sherri and Cal Till Jr. (Julie) of Forsyth; her stepchildren Matt Jones (Allison) of Forsyth and LeAnn Woods (Brian) of Kite; step grandchildren Sophia Jones, Jason Wynn, and Asher Woods; and her dog Louie who was her faithful and loving companion. 

In addition to her parents Carol is preceded in death by her sister Ann Sherroll Watkins Lucas and brother Billy Watkins.
