Jimmy Rayford Jones

Jimmy Rayford Jones passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Monroe County Moose Lodge, 524 Cabiness Road, Forsyth, GA 31029.  Mr. Jones, the son of the late Charlie Alvin Jones and Mary Lizzie Bussell Jones was born March 2, 1947, in Dublin, Georgia. He was a retired sheet metal fabricator.  Survivors include his wife, Judy Wempel Jones of Benton, Pennsylvania; children, Jimmy L. Jones (Shandora) of Forsyth, Michelle Ellington (Mike), of The Rock and Marty Jones (Wendy) of Forsyth; brothers, Alton Jones and Walt Jones (JoAnne) of Forsyth; sisters, Linnie Moser (Jay) of Lakeland, Florida and June Jones of Forsyth; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.  The family requests no flowers but suggests donations to Monroe County Toy Run, c/o Monroe County Moose Lodge, Post Office Box 5968, Forsyth, GA 31029. This will greatly benefit the Care Cottage and needy children.Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
