Jim Paul Coogler

Jim Paul Coogler passed away Thursday, July 1, 2020. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, a private graveside service for family will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery with no formal visitation.  Stake President Dennis Applebee will officiate.

Jim, the son of the late Jack Marsdin Coogler and Ruby Estelle Gossett Champion was born July 26, 1968 in Macon, Georgia.  He retired from a nuclear power plant as a senior health physicist and was a veteran of the United States Army.  Jim was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survivors include his siblings, Timothy Coogler (Vickie) of Phoenix, Arizona, Teresa Griffeth of Forsyth, Joe Coogler (Debra) of North Carolina and Brian Champion of Ohio; aunt, LaFran Jackson of Forsyth; uncle, Larry William Gossett of Texas; several nieces and nephews.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
