Jerri Rowell Collins

Jerri Rowell Collins of Forsyth, GA left this earth on September 29, 2021, to be greeted by her Lord and Savior and by her husband, H. Joe Collins, who preceded her in death in 1993.

Jerri was born on February 9, 1941 in Macon, GA, to E.L. and Jewell Rowell, who also preceded her in death.  Jerri worked at Warner Robins Air Force Base, and after the death of her husband, she pursued a degree in nursing.  She worked as a Registered Nurse at Houston Medical Center.  Jerri was a cancer survivor and kept her spunk throughout her health battles. 

Jerri lives on in her two daughters, Wendy (Marty) Jones and Donna (Barry) Teems as well as her grandsons, Chandler Teems, Caleb Jones and Bryant Jones, brother, Ron (Nancy) Rowell, and her very best friend and cousin, Johnnie (Bob) Mills.

The family would like to express sincere appreciation for the love and care of those at Antebellum Memory Care as well as the nurses at Encompass Hospice. 

Jerri Collins will be laid to rest beside her husband with graveside services at Jacksonville Memorial Gardens, Monday, October 4, 2021.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
