Jean Butler

Rose Jeanette “Jean” Butler passed away Friday, June 1, 2018. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 4, 2018, at Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.  Reverend Franklin Etheridge will officiate.   Jean, the daughter of the late Ellis White and Effie Kate James White was born February 7, 1946 in Thomaston, Georgia. Her daughter, Kathy Jackson preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her children, Kate Hudson (Ricky) and William Butler, Jr. (Teresa Cox); son-in-law, Robert Jackson; brother, Randy White of Forsyth; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
