James “Roy” Beacham 79, of Barnesville Georgia passed away April 7, 2024. Born in Americus to the late William Emmett Beacham and late Ora Lee Harper Beacham. He was raised on a dairy farm in Sumter County and later moving to Culloden Georgia, working at General Tire and later at Carters Manufacturing. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday April 11, 2024, at Good Hope Family Church US 41 Barnesville Georgia. The family will greet friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm April 10, 2024, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel 86 W Main St Forsyth.

Roy was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved his grand and great grandchildren with his entire heart. He was a faithful member of Good Hope Family Worship Church.

Roy leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years Glenda of Barnesville, Daughter Prescillia Fields (Bobby) of Barnesville, Granddaughter Philicia Gore (Ben), Grandson Gabriel Wehunt of Barnesville, Great grandchildren Benjamin “Bear” Gore and Raymond “RJ” Gore.

In addition to his parents Roy is predeceased by his brother Wayne Beacham and his son James Randall Beacham.
