In Loving Memory of Ina Dawn Spelman
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ina Dawn Spelman, 53, of Juliette, Georgia, on September 15, 2024. Dawn was born on January 25, 1971, in Macon, Georgia, to Michael Spelman and Chloe Ross. She graduated from Mary Persons High School in 1989 and worked at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, where her kindness and compassion touched many lives.
Dawn was a wonderful cook, creating meals that brought joy to those around her without ever needing a recipe. Her passions extended to gardening, fishing, and the joy of music, but above all, her heart belonged to her caring son, Patrick Slade McDaniel.
She is preceded in death by her parents Micheal and Chloe Spelman, grandparents George and Alma Ross, and her brother, Ian Matthew Spelman. Dawn is survived by her son, Slade McDaniel, her lifelong best friend, Casey Resseau, and many friends who were lucky to have known her.
A devoted believer in Jesus Christ, Dawn studied her Bible daily and found strength in her faith. Her warmth, kindness, and bright spirit left a lasting mark on everyone she met, and her memory will be forever cherished by all who loved her.
Arrangements are being handled by Monroe County Memorial Chapel, located at 86 West Main Street, Forsyth, Georgia.
