VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Howard Morris Zach of Forsyth, GA passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 12, 2018 in a car accident. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend to many. He was an avid hunter and loved all things sport. He will be remembered for his contagious laugh and free spirit. Howard worked for the office of Federal Defenders of Middle GA. Howard was born July 25, 1967 and was from Union Springs, NY. He attended Mohawk Valley Community College and served 10 years in the United States Navy, serving during Desert Storm. Howard is survived by his wife Tammie; his children, EMN3 Frank Zach of the USS Illinois, Josephine Zach of Forsyth, GA and Ethan Zach of Forsyth, GA. His father, Dennis Zach and his wife, Barb Zach of Auburn, New York and his mother, Linda Bouck Zach of Union Springs, NY; siblings, Denise Marstall of Union Springs, NY, Darcy Kane of Brockport, NY, John Zach of Rochester, NY and Jodie Nickerson of Union Springs, NY; paternal grandmother, Marion Zach of Middleburg, NY; uncle, Barry Zach of Middleburg, NY; cousin, Jerry Ginn of North Carolina; and a host of family and friends. Services with military honors will be held at Monroe County Memorial Chapel in Forsyth, GA on Monday, July 23, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, GA. In lieu of flowers the family request potted plants or donations to be made in Howard’s name to the Mary Persons Touchdown Club. New York services will be announced at a later date. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
