Henry Bowdoin Pless

Henry Bowdoin Pless was born on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 2:34 AM in Macon, GA. He was soon under the care of the Navicent Health NICU team after his premature birth. He improved and grew stronger until Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 10:05 AM when an intensifying brain bleed took his life. Henry passed into the arms of Jesus with his loving parents by his side. 

Henry has left a permanent mark on many hearts, his parents’ foremost. He is loved by all who had the opportunity to meet him and is greatly missed. We look forward to meeting him in heaven one day. 

A private memorial service will be held at Juliette United Methodist Church. Reverend Brian Moore is officiating.

Henry is survived by his parents, Alan and Carrie Pless of Juliette; his sister and brother, Lucy and Jack Pless; paternal grandparents, Mike and Teri Pless of Juliette; maternal grandparents, Todd and Rhonda Dobson of Ludowici; paternal great-grandparents, Marvin E. Bowdoin of Juliette, Travis and Linda Pless of Toccoa; maternal great-grandparents, Virginia Dobson of Macon, and Frank and Michelle Tanner of Warner Robins; uncle, Jonathan Pless (Eden); and aunts, Courtney Erikson (Jacob), Casey Patterson (Hank), Christin Maresca (Justin), Caylee Dobson, Carly Dobson, and Camryn Dobson.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
