Elizabeth Croft Garvin formerly of Macon passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 22, 2017, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Rev. Gary Berrier and Timothy Wade Williamson will officiate. The family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Garvin, the daughter of the late Henry Britt Croft and Janie Victoria Elmore Garvin was born December 13, 1925, in Charleston, South Carolina. Her husband James Phillip Garvin, Sr. and her daughter, Janie Garvin Sanders preceded her in death. She was previously employed with Marshall Furniture Company as a bookkeeper and was member of Macon Evangelistic Church. Survivors include her daughter, Ruby Garvin Cannon and her husband John of Forsyth, her son, Phillip Garvin and his wife Judy of Chattanooga, Tennessee; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
