Eddie Dean Mason, Sr.

Eddie Dean Mason, Sr. passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Crossroad Bible Church Cemetery, 243 Marshall Mill Road, Fort Valley, GA 31030.  Rev. Rex Odom will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 29, 2018, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel, 86 West Main Street, Forsyth, GA 31029. Eddie, the son of the late Daniel Marion Mason and Marie Dupree Mason was born December 16, 1949, in Macon, Georgia. His son, Christopher Mason preceded him in death. He was a retired sheet metal mechanic. Survivors include his wife of forty-three years, Becky Mason of Crawford County; children, Samantha Cummings (Larry) of Macon, London Kinchen (Scott) of Byron, Eddie D, Mason, Jr., of Macon and Kimberly D. Mason of Macon; grandchildren, Raymond (Bud) Kimsey, III (Sarah), Bryon Cummings (Whitney), Brooke Winslett (Kenny), Wesley Cummings, Macy Kimbler (Gary), Bo Rowland (Kady) and Chase Kinchen; and nine great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, Ga 31201. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
