Douglas Lawson

Douglas Lawson, 66, of Forsyth Georgia passed away September 3, 2024. Born May 16, 1958, in Olney Maryland to Willie Lawson and Georgia Wharton. Funeral services will be held12:00 PM Friday September 20, 2024, at Monroe Couty Memorial Chapel 86 West Main Street Forsyth burial will follow at Lamar Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. 

Douglas was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending his free time hunting and fishing and always found peace in nature. 

In addition to his parents Douglas is survived by his daughters; Georgia Lawson, of High Falls, Brittany Lawson of High Falls, and Sherry Lawson of High Falls; grandchildren Brianna, Alyssa, Kerry, Kameron, Brian, Macy, Dakota, and Ashton; sister Genell (Anthony) of Pennington Gap Virginia,
