Dorothy Daniels Duckworth

Dorothy Daniels Duckworth, 84, of Forsyth passed away Friday February 28, 2025. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday March 6, 2025, at Ebenezer Methodist Church 1671 Dames Ferry Road, Forsyth, Georgia. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ebenezer Methodist Church at 1671 Dames Ferry Road, Forsyth, Georgia 31029. 

Mrs. Duckworth was born in Valdosta, GA on February 11, 1941, to the late Veasy and Sudie Daniels. She graduated from Mary Persons High School in 1959. She was a long-time member at Ebenezer Methodist Church where she found great joy in participating in various church activities. She was well known for her baking abilities and was happy to share that gift. 

She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Julian Kimbell Duckworth. She is survived by her children Kimbell Ahlstrand (Steven) and Lisa Baker (Terry), her grandson Eric Ahlstrand (Aaron), bonus grandchildren Wendy Baker Harvil (Brandt), Bryan Ahlstrand (Marlene), Alexandra Ahlstrand; bonus great grandchildren Peyton Harvil, Reece Harvil, and Lucas Cohen; sisters, Betty Daniels Davis, Joyce Daniels Kimbell; brother-in-law Kenneth Wayne Duckworth; many nieces, nephews and friends.
