Devan “Fish” Sexton Fishback January 4, 1993 – August 24, 2024 

Devan “Fish” Sexton Fishback died August 24, 2024. Devan, the son of Ronald Sexton Fishback, and Sherroll Cogin Flanagan, was born on January 4, 1993, along with his twin brother Daniel Shannon Fishback in Thomaston Ga. Survivors include, his 4-year-old daughter Peyton Marie Fishback and his spouse Dominique McDonald who is pregnant with Devan’s son due in early January 2025. Father, Ron Fishback, Mother, Sherroll Flanagan, both of Forsyth. His twin brother, Daniel (Christina) Fishback along with two nieces of Forsyth, and several uncles, aunts, cousins and close friends. Devan was a diesel/heavy equipment technician of Yancey Brothers Caterpillar company of Ga. A celebration of Devan’s life will be held at a later date. 

Devan was known for his love of a challenge, his vast knowledge in mechanical applications, love of building and racing performance cars, and most importantly his passion for caring for his family. He adored his daughter, Peyton, and even started teaching her how to “turn wrenches” on cars at home. He had a deep passion to help all in need. The passion that he had to ensure that his family would not suffer or do without was pronounced and unquestionable. He strived to ensure they had the best he could obtain and offer, He will be remembered and missed by many. By family, close friends, co-workers and countless other people that he impacted during his life.
