Debra Ruth Hall

April 22, 1955 — November 10, 2021

Debra Ruth Hall “Moma” “Memaw” “Nana” was called home to be with our Heavenly Father November 10, 2021. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service at Bethany Baptist Church.  Rev. Jimmy Corbett will officiate.  Burial will be private.

Debra was born April 22, 1955 in Macon, Ga to Sherrill K. and the late Elizabeth Smith. Debra lived her entire life in the middle Georgia area. She became a nurse in December 1988. Debra was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She was active in coordinating food banks and loved devoting her time to prison ministry. Debra was a born caregiver due to her love and compassion towards others. She was known for love and faith in Jesus Christ and would share her faith with anyone who would listen. Heaven has truly gained an angel. 

Debra is preceded in death by her daughter Debra Lee Heald. She is survived by daughters Joy Elizabeth Floyd and Anna (Adrian) McBride. Son-in-law Richard Heald, beloved grandchildren Chanlor (Maci) Heald, Dylan and Isaiah Floyd, Basia, Luke and Ariel McBride and Elijah Heald, beloved great grandchildren Brantley, Jackson, Jordan and Olivia Heald. Siblings Theresa Harp, Sherrill Smith, Kathy Criswell, Vickie (Scott) Logue, Steven Smith, Kristy Ard and several nieces and nephews.

The family may be contacted at the residence of Anna and Adrian McBride, 1309 Charles Johnson Road, Forsyth, GA 31029.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Bethany Baptist Church 365 Pea Ridge Rd., Juliette, GA 31046.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
