David Willis Berry, passed away on July 17, 2023. He was born on May 8, 1965. David's unique ability to play the guitar - upside down and backwards, showcased his unparalleled talent and creativity. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday July 22, 2023 at The Sanctuary in Juliette Georgia with Reverend Jeff Dean officiating.
David led a life filled with adventure and music. He could be found indulging in his passion for fishing, no matter where the fish were biting. David would venture there to cast his line and enjoy the tranquility of nature. His love for fishing allowed him to explore various places and create countless cherished memories.
Additionally, David's musical talents led him to travel far and wide with gospel bands. Whether he was playing for a small gathering or performing at large events, David's heartfelt melodies touched the souls of those who heard them. His guitar became an extension of himself as he poured his emotions into each note.
David leaves behind his cherished children: Brandon Berry, Justin Berry, Whitney Smith, and their respective spouses Erin Berry and John Smith. David's love extended to his grandchildren as well: Auden Berry, David Berry, and Elaina Berry.
In addition to his immediate family, David is mourned by Crystal Berry (sister), Donald Berry (brother), Rhonda Dorton (niece), Chris (nephew-in-law), Matthew Berry (nephew), and Brian Berry (nephew). These family members were an integral part of his life and provided unwavering support during both joyful moments and challenging times.
David is preceded in death by his beloved wife Stephanie Elaine Elliott Berry, who shared many beautiful years of marriage with him. Their strong bond served as an inspiration to those around them, showcasing love and commitment through thick and thin.
Throughout his journey on this Earth, David Willis Berry left an indelible mark on all those he encountered. His incredible musical talent, zest for life, and unwavering love for his family will be forever cherished. As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, let us remember the joy and happiness he brought to our lives. David's legacy will live on through the memories he created and the love he shared with everyone fortunate enough to know him.
