Danny Williamson

Danny Leon Williamson, 72, of Forsyth, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024. He was born August 2, 1952, to the late Hugh Dorsey Williamson and the late Florence McCrackin in Forsyth Georgia. The family will greet friends at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel, 86 West Main Street, Forsyth. 

Danny loved his children and grandchildren. He was a hard worker who enjoyed working on and collecting classic cars. He was an avid fan of Mary Persons, UGA football and NASCAR. Danny enjoyed fishing and spending time in nature. He enjoyed music, especially Elvis. 

Danny is survived by his wife of 39 years, Cindy Williamson; son, Morgan Williamson (Brooke); daughters, Michelle Crosson (Tim Humphrey), Chelsea Farmer, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; brother Bobby Williamson, Sister Debra Bunn (Larry), brother, Terry Williamson, and many friends. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Mary Persons Bulldog Football Program, 300 Montpelier Ave, Forsyth, GA 31029 or Save A Pet, PO Box 933 Forsyth, GA 31029.
