David Hugh Buice

David Hugh Buice passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, January 17, 2022 at Barnesville Church of the Nazarene with visitation from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon, 744 Veterans Drive, Barnesville, GA 30204.  Pastor Lonnie Grant, Jr and Pastor Mark Henson will officiate.  Burial will be private.

David was born February 8, 1948 in Barnesville, Georgia to the late Willis Robert Buice and Sarah Graham Buice.  His wife, Janice Johnson Buice, his daughter, Julie Happoldt and his siblings, Martha Jean Walker, Lenez Taylor, Barbara Burford, Winton Buice and Wayne Buice preceded him in death.  David was retired owner and operator of Buice Transmission Shop and Buice Convenience Store.  He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during Vietnam. David was an active member of the Barnesville Church of the Nazarene and if you had the privilege to know him, you respected and loved him.

David is survived by his son, Jackson Buice: step daughters, Brittany Reynolds (Caleb) and Aleia Maddox; siblings, Paul Buice (Patricia), Eddie Buice, Sr. (Sandra), Elizabeth Hall (Ronald), Carol Dukes (Dickie) and Joe Buice (Barbara); grandchildren, Colton Morgan, Malakai Carroll, Houston West, Canaan Reynolds and Jace Maddox; numerous nieces, nephews and a large extended family.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Barnesville Church of the Nazarene Building Fund, 744 Veterans Drive, Barnesville, GA 30204.
